Ajman Police launches the "Children's Safety is a Duty" campaign for parents to raise awareness about their children's safety.

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and prevent domestic accidents, the Ajman Police General Command has launched an awareness campaign targeting parents under the slogan "Children's Safety is a Duty." The campaign aims to raise awareness of the risks children may face as a result of neglect and inattention, highlight the need to monitor their behavior, and warn against neglect, whether on the part of the family or the domestic worker. Lieutenant Colonel Noura Sultan Al Shamsi, Head of the Media and Public Relations Department at Ajman Police, explained that this campaign came in response to protecting children from accidents resulting from child neglect or inattention to their behavior, such as their access to dangerous materials in homes such as detergents or chemicals that are stored in unsafe places.Leaving the house without a companion, touching exposed electrical outlets or going onto balconies and rooftops, which exposes them to the risk of falling, and avoiding sharp tools and kitchen stoves are also risks. She emphasized that such accidents can be prevented by intensifying round-the-clock monitoring and surveillance. She added that the campaign includes spreading awareness through various media outlets and social media, and communicating with parents and domestic workers in cooperation with relevant authorities to educate them about the most common misbehaviors and dangerous materials and tools. She also emphasized the importance of educating children themselves about what to avoid at home, wishing everyone safety.
