The "Police of the Future" Summer Program Launches at Ajman Police
The 26th edition of the "Police of the Future" Summer Program for males and the 8th edition
for females was launched at the Ajman Police General Command. The program was attended
by His Excellency Brigadier Sultan Khalifa Al Muhairi, Director General of Resources and
Support Services. 315 male and female Emirati students, aged 12 to 17, who successfully
completed their studies during the current academic year, participated in the program, along
with 79 students from the Masfout and Manama regions.
The program aims to develop students' skills and promote the values of belonging, discipline,
and social responsibility. It comes within the framework of supporting and empowering the
"Year of Community" initiatives. Ajman Police has been keen to include people of
determination and orphans, as well as students under the care of social support, in the summer
program, to support them and enable their integration into society. His Excellency Brigadier
Sultan Khalifa Al Muhairi stated that the "Future Police" program is one of the pioneering
annual initiatives organized by Ajman Police. It aims to instill security values and positive
behavior in young people, and to develop a sense of national pride and self-discipline through
integrated training, educational, and sports activities supervised by specialized personnel.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Rashid Al Jarwan Al Shamsi, Head of the Ajman Police
Training Center, explained that the program includes military training (infantry and weapons),
training students on disassembling and assembling weapons, and physical exercises to build
strong and healthy bodies. It also teaches students the principles of military discipline. The
program also includes self-defense skills to enhance self-confidence and the ability to deal with
emergency situations. It also includes awareness workshops on traffic safety and a cultural and
religious program that contributes to building a balanced personality for students. Lieutenant
Colonel Mohammed Al Shamsi added that the current edition has introduced a new advanced
category for male citizens aged 15 to 17. The 43 participants are graduates of previous "Future
Police" courses and are receiving intensive training at service centers, covering customer
service, media and public relations, human resources, and police operations. He emphasized that
the program was carefully designed to motivate students and utilize their time during the
summer vacation to their benefit, by instilling positive behaviors and early security awareness.
He noted the program's positive impact on students' behavior at home, as praised by parents
who expressed their gratitude to Ajman Police for its commitment to building a knowledgeable
and distinguished generation.
