Ajman Police Enhances School Security with Launch of "Safe School Year" Campaign
The Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, launched the Ministry of
Interior's awareness campaign under the slogan "Safe School Year." The campaign, which began with the 2025-2026
school year, will continue for three months. The campaign aims to educate all segments of society, especially parents,
school students, and school bus drivers and supervisors, on the importance of adhering to traffic regulations to ensure a
safe school environment that preserves the safety of students and others and promotes a strong traffic culture.
Lieutenant Colonel Fouad Yousef Al Khaja, Head of the Traffic and Patrols Department, emphasized that the campaign
falls within the framework of Ajman Police's commitment to providing the highest standards of traffic safety from the
first day of the school year. This is achieved by disseminating guidelines and instructions to students, parents, drivers,
and supervisors, ensuring smooth traffic flow and reducing potential risks during student commutes to and from school.
The Head of the Traffic and Patrols Department explained that the campaign's objectives are to raise traffic awareness
among targeted segments of society, reduce school accidents and injuries, and enhance traffic discipline around schools.
He noted that a shared commitment from all parties is the true guarantee for a safe and stable educational environment.
