Ajman Police Strengthens School Patrols and Traffic Awareness in Ajman

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance traffic safety around schools and protect students, the Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, organized field visits to a number of schools in the emirate. This is part of its comprehensive plan to secure education and provide a safe school environment. The school patrol toured school clusters and major intersections to meet with drivers, parents, and students. Traffic guidance and awareness were provided to ensure their safety. Awareness leaflets were also distributed, including important guidelines on student safety during transportation and the importance of parents and school bus drivers adhering to traffic laws and safe driving behaviors around schools. Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid Bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, emphasized that these initiatives are in line with Ajman Police's efforts to enhance traffic awareness among various segments of society, especially students, thus contributing to reducing traffic accidents and protecting lives. He added that the traffic plan for the academic year includes intensifying patrols around schools, regulating traffic to facilitate student access, and preventing congestion and illegal parking, which could pose a threat to their safety. The Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department also emphasized that the cooperation of parents and drivers with traffic instructions enhances the success of security and community efforts, calling on everyone to adhere to laws and guidelines to preserve the safety of our students.
