Ajman Police Launches "Child Safety in Vehicles" Campaign

The Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, launched an awareness campaign under the slogan "Child Safety in Vehicles." The campaign runs from October 20 to December 21, 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of traffic safety and protect children from dangers while traveling in vehicles. Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid Bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police, said the campaign aims to educate parents and drivers about the importance of using child safety seats, wearing seat belts, and not leaving children unattended in vehicles. It also aims to spread the culture of safe and responsible driving among the community, in line with the Ajman Police vision of "a safe and stable society" and supporting the 2025 "Year of the Community" initiative. He added that this campaign comes within the framework of Ajman Police's ongoing efforts to reduce accidents and injuries to children in vehicles and to raise awareness among parents about the preventive measures to be followed while driving. The Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department pointed out that the campaign focuses on implementing field and awareness programs in schools, shopping malls, and residential areas, in addition to broadcasting media messages across various digital platforms and social media, with the aim of delivering the awareness message to the largest possible segment of the public. He called on all members of society to cooperate and adhere to traffic regulations, and to participate in protecting our children from any potential danger, because the safety of children is a shared responsibility that begins with the family and extends to society.
