Ajman Police Opens Nursery at Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution

His Excellency Brigadier Khalid Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, inaugurated a nursery for the children of female inmates at the Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution of Ajman Police. The inauguration was attended by Colonel Mohammed Mubarak Al Ghafli, Director of the Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution, and several senior officers from Ajman Police. His Excellency the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police emphasized that the opening of the nursery reflects the Ajman Police's commitment to its humanitarian and community role by providing a safe and supportive environment for children and enabling incarcerated mothers to have peace of mind regarding their children. This embodies the UAE's approach of care, compassion, and tolerance towards all segments of society. His Excellency inspected the modern facilities, recreational amenities, and play area provided at the nursery, as well as the health and care services offered to the children and their mothers. These services aim to create an ideal environment that addresses their human and psychological needs, away from the prison atmosphere. His Excellency concluded his speech by emphasizing that Ajman Police will continue to develop its community and humanitarian initiatives in line with the state’s strategy for achieving justice and reform, noting that such projects reflect the civilized and humanitarian face of the state in its dealings with all segments of society.
