Ajman Police implements the Narrator Initiative under the supervision of the Federal Community Police Department

The Community Protection and Prevention Department at Ajman Police General Headquarters implemented the "Storyteller" initiative under the supervision of the Federal Community Police Department. The event was attended by Brigadier Abdullah Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Community Protection and Prevention Department at Ajman Police; Colonel Dr. Saif Salem Al Khuraibani Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director of the General Department of Community Protection and Prevention; Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Fatima Obaid Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the Community Protection and Prevention Department; and a number of police officers and senior citizens of the emirate. The Director of the Community Protection and Prevention Department stated that the "Storyteller" initiative aims to highlight Emirati folklore through the storytellers who have contributed to preserving and transmitting this heritage to future generations. Several senior citizens of the emirate were invited to participate in community dialogues to shed light on this folklore. Among those who contributed to enriching the dialogue were Mr. Saif bin Sulaiman Al Shamsi, Mr. Hamad Hamdan Al Awad Al Matroushi, Ms. Halima Al Dhaheri, and Ms. Ghaliya Mohammed Al Khubbi Al Shehhi. The event was attended by a number of senior citizens of the emirate. This initiative stems from a desire to support national identity and social responsibility, and to promote the presence of Emirati oral heritage in community media. It aims to highlight Emirati folk heritage through the storytellers who have contributed to preserving and passing on this heritage to future generations.
