Ajman Police Commemorate Martyrs' Day in Tribute to the Nation's Sons
The Ajman Police General Command commemorated Martyrs' Day, observed annually on
November 30th, in recognition of the sacrifices of the UAE's righteous sons who gave their
lives defending the nation and its flag.
The ceremonies began with the lowering of flags at 8:00 AM at the Command
headquarters, police stations, and service centers. This was followed by a minute of silent
prayer for the souls of the martyrs at 11:30 AM at the Police Sports and Shooting Club,
attended by a number of officers and personnel.
After the silent prayer, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Rashid Al Jarwan Al Shamsi, Head
of the Training Center at Ajman Police, raised the UAE flag in the Police Sports and
Shooting Club grounds, accompanied by the police band and the flag guard, amidst an
atmosphere of reverence and gratitude for the martyrs' sacrifices. These ceremonies
embody the pride of Ajman Police in the heroic deeds and sincere efforts of the nation’s
martyrs, so that the UAE flag may remain high and fluttering, a symbol of sacrifice,
loyalty and belonging.
