Ajman Police Youth Council Organizes 2025 Running Championship with Wide Participation from Various Community Groups

The Ajman Police Youth Council organized the 2025 Running Championship on the Al Safiya walkway, with the participation of over 100 male and female runners from various segments of society. This initiative reflects the Council's commitment to promoting a culture of sports and physical activity, and encouraging the community to adopt a healthy lifestyle that contributes to enhancing the quality of life in the Emirate of Ajman. The championship witnessed a remarkable level of competition among the participants over a 4-kilometer course, reflecting a spirit of positivity and youthful energy. It also contributed to strengthening community bonds and reinforcing the concepts of community participation, thus supporting the building of an active and cohesive society. Organizing this championship aligns with the National Youth Strategy, which aims to empower young people, invest in their potential, and enhance their participation in community and sports initiatives. This contributes to preparing a conscious and responsible generation capable of contributing to the sustainable development process. It also aligns with the objectives of the National Sports Strategy 2031, which focuses on spreading the culture of practicing sports as a lifestyle and raising the levels of physical fitness among members of society. At the conclusion of the event, Captain Rashid bin Hamdan Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Police Youth Council, honored the winners of the top three places in both the male and female categories, praising the level of participation and the great turnout for the event, and stressing that the Ajman Police Youth Council continues to launch sports and youth initiatives, in support of the directions of the General Command of Ajman Police, and in embodiment of its vision to empower youth and enhance community partnership.
