As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance road safety and protect lives and property, Ajman Police General
Command launched its first quarterly campaign of 2026 under the slogan "Towards a Safe Road for All
Users." The three-month campaign aims to raise traffic awareness among all road users, regardless of their
background.
Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at
Ajman Police, emphasized that the campaign aligns with the directives of the wise leadership to instill traffic
safety principles and reduce dangerous driving behaviors, thereby contributing to a decrease in traffic
accidents and an improved quality of life in the community.
He explained that the campaign targets all types of vehicle users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and people
with disabilities, with a focus on those most vulnerable. It urges everyone to adhere to traffic laws and
regulations to ensure their safety and the safety of others. The Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols
Department indicated that the campaign's media plan relies on disseminating awareness programs across
various social media platforms, in addition to collaborating with strategic partners concerned with traffic
safety, with the aim of reaching the widest possible segment of society and achieving the desired awareness
impact.
Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi explained that the campaign is being implemented across all
regions of the country, in three languages: Arabic, English, and Urdu. This reflects Ajman Police's
commitment to ensuring the comprehensiveness and diversity of the awareness message to suit different
segments of society and to promote a culture of traffic compliance as a shared responsibility. He emphasized
the importance of community members' cooperation, adherence to issued guidelines and instructions, and
reporting any traffic hazards, which contributes to achieving the campaign's goal of providing safe roads for
all users.
