Ajman Police enhances road safety by organizing an awareness lecture for Ministry of Health and Al-Ahliya Charity School employees
The Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police General Headquarters organized an awareness lecture for
employees of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, as well as students and staff of the Ahliya Charity
School. The lecture was held at the Ministry of Health's Ajman branch office as part of the first quarterly
campaign of 2026, themed "Towards a Safe Road for All Users," aimed at enhancing traffic awareness and
promoting a culture of adherence to traffic laws among all segments of society.
The lecture was presented by Captain Hamdan Al Raisi, Director of the Traffic Awareness and Media
Branch. He reviewed the main causes of traffic accidents and dangerous driving behaviors, in addition to
explaining the importance of adhering to speed limits, using seat belts, avoiding mobile phone use while
driving, and following guidelines for pedestrian and cyclist safety.
Captain Al Raisi emphasized that these lectures reflect Ajman Police's commitment to delivering the
campaign's messages to government and educational institutions, considering them key partners in
disseminating traffic safety culture. He noted that direct awareness campaigns contribute to instilling positive
behavior and reducing road hazards. The event included the presentation of visual materials and awareness
statistics, as well as an open discussion with attendees to answer their questions and provide practical advice
to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
At the conclusion of the lecture, representatives of the participating entities commended Ajman Police for
organizing such community initiatives, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration to achieve the
desired goal of providing safe roads for all users and enhancing the quality of life in the community.
