The Ramadan Shooting Championship competitions kicked off at the Police Sports and Shooting Club 2026

The Ramadan Shooting Championship for men and women kicked off with a 9mm pistol shooting competition at the Police Sports and Shooting Club, with wide participation from across the UAE. Major Ahmed Abdullah Al Ajmani, Director of the Police Sports and Shooting Club, stated that organizing the championship is part of the UAE's efforts to support the sports sector, promote a culture of sports as a way of life, strengthen ties between the police and the community, and develop shooting skills. He added that the championship attracted 120 male and female participants, who competed in rounds of shooting with a 9mm pistol from a distance of 25 meters, with each competitor firing 10 shots, all according to the highest safety and organizational standards. The club director explained that the championship was characterized by a competitive atmosphere that combined strength, excitement, and suspense, all within a framework of high sportsmanship. He wished all participants success and the best results, in line with the championship's objectives of promoting sports culture and strengthening community cohesion.
