Ajman Police's Vehicle and Driver Licensing Department Organizes "Iftar for Fasting People" Initiative as Part of "Ramadan Aman" Campaign
The Vehicle and Driver Licensing Department at Ajman Police General Headquarters
organized the "Iftar for Fasting People" initiative as part of the "Ramadan Aman"
campaign, in cooperation with Al Ihsan Charity Association. This initiative aims to
promote the values of community solidarity and reinforce a culture of giving during the
holy month of Ramadan.
Major Ali Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Head of the Vehicle Licensing Section, stated that the
initiative is part of Ajman Police's ongoing efforts to enhance road safety during Ramadan.
Officers and personnel from the Vehicle and Driver Licensing Department, along with a
number of volunteers, distributed Iftar meals to drivers in the Mushairif area before
Maghrib prayer time. The goal was to assist fasting drivers who might be caught by the
time it takes to break their fast while on the road.
Major Al Nuaimi explained that this initiative contributes to reducing speeding and reckless
driving that some drivers may engage in to reach their destinations before Iftar. It
encourages drivers to stop and break their fast safely, thus enhancing their safety and the
safety of other road users. He added that Ajman Police, through its participation in the
“Ramadan Aman” campaign, is keen to enhance community partnership and cooperation
with charitable institutions and volunteers to serve the community, and to spread the spirit
of compassion and solidarity among members of society during the holy month, stressing
that such humanitarian initiatives embody the message of Ajman Police in serving the
community and enhancing road safety and security, wishing everyone safety and safe
driving during the holy month of Ramadan.
