Ajman Police Urges Public to Exercise Caution Amid Current Weather Conditions

The Ajman Police General Command is urging the public and drivers to exercise caution and follow the guidelines and instructions issued by the relevant authorities, given the current weather conditions and heavy rainfall affecting the country. Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, confirmed that Ajman Police has activated its emergency plans and enhanced its readiness by deploying traffic and security patrols extensively around the clock, supported by all necessary resources, to ensure a rapid response to various reports and traffic accidents, thus enhancing the safety and security of community members. The Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department emphasized the importance of drivers reducing their speed while driving, maintaining a safe distance between vehicles, and ensuring the proper functioning of their windshield wipers to guarantee clear visibility. He also called on the public to avoid areas prone to flash floods and water accumulations, as these pose a significant danger. He stressed that adhering to these guidelines contributes to enhancing public safety and security, and protecting lives and property.
