Ajman Police Launches Proactive Initiative to Service Damaged Vehicles and Issue Lost and Damaged Vehicle Certificates
His Excellency Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, Director of the Comprehensive City
Police Station, confirmed that the Ajman Police General Command has launched a
proactive initiative to provide loss and damaged vehicle certificates for vehicles affected by
rainwater accumulation in various areas of the emirate. This initiative reflects the
Command's commitment to enhancing the quality of life and well-being of the community.
His Excellency explained that the initiative aims to facilitate the process for customers and
enable them to complete their procedures effortlessly by issuing the necessary certificates
for damaged vehicles or lost license plates due to the recent weather conditions in the
country, without requiring prior application. His Excellency noted that traffic and security
patrol teams conducted a comprehensive field survey of various areas in the emirate,
particularly those that experienced significant water accumulation. The survey identified
damaged vehicles, some of which suffered breakdowns or damage, in addition to some
vehicles having lost their license plates. The service was made available through the Ajman
Police smart application, with over 94% of the service completed via the app, clearly
demonstrating the provision of smart and efficient services that meet the community's
expectations.
His Excellency Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi added that Ajman Police proactively
issued damage and loss certificates, enabling vehicle owners to easily and conveniently
complete repair procedures at dealerships or insurance companies without needing to visit
police stations. This contributed to reducing service time and streamlining the process.
His Excellency affirmed that Ajman Police continues to develop its proactive services,
exceeding customer expectations, especially during times of crisis and disaster, thus
enhancing quality of life and embodying its community role.
