As part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety, the Unified Gulf Traffic Week 2026,
themed "Cross Safely," has been launched. This initiative aims to raise traffic awareness,
aligning with the Ministry of Interior's strategy to promote road safety and security.
Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols
Department at Ajman Police, confirmed that the campaign will run from May 4th to 9th,
2026, and focuses on promoting a culture of safe pedestrian crossing and reinforcing
adherence to traffic laws and regulations.

various segments of society, particularly pedestrians, through educational lectures, diverse
events, media messages, and a visible presence at key locations. The goal is to instill
positive traffic behaviors and reduce accidents resulting from unsafe crossing.
