Ajman Police Continues to Enhance Road Safety with "Move Your Vehicle After a Minor Accident" Campaign
The Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police General Command is continuing its second sub-campaign, "Move
Your Vehicle After a Minor Accident," as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance road safety and raise awareness among
road users. The campaign will run until the end of June 2026.
Lieutenant Colonel Fouad Yousef Al Khaja, Head of the Traffic and Patrols Section, emphasized that the campaign
reflects Ajman Police General Command's commitment to developing police work and improving the quality of
services provided. He noted that the campaign aims to educate drivers on the importance of moving their vehicles to
the side of the road in the event of minor accidents that do not result in injuries, thus preventing traffic congestion and
reducing traffic flow.
He explained that adhering to the procedure of moving vehicles after minor accidents improves traffic flow, especially
on major roads, and reduces the likelihood of secondary accidents. He stressed that road safety is a shared
responsibility that requires the cooperation of all members of the community. He explained that the campaign includes
comprehensive awareness programs through various media outlets and social media platforms, in addition to field
awareness carried out by traffic patrols, to inform the public of the correct procedures to follow after minor accidents
occur.
