Ajman Police Fulfill the Wish of Two Children with Disabilities to Experience Police Work
As part of the Ajman Police General Command's commitment to strengthening its
community role and instilling values of social responsibility, the Masfout Comprehensive
Police Station implemented the "Fulfilling a Child's Wish" initiative, coinciding with the
Year of the Family. The initiative aimed to bring joy to children, enhance their
psychological and social well-being, and reinforce the values of social inclusion for people
with disabilities.
The initiative came about after the station received information about two students with
disabilities at Abu Saeed Al-Khudri School who had a strong passion for police work and
were eager to learn firsthand about the nature of police officers' work and experience a
realistic simulation of their daily tasks.
The station's team coordinated with the school administration to implement the initiative
and fulfill the children's wish. Two special military uniforms were prepared to resemble
official police uniforms, enriching their experience and creating a realistic atmosphere that
fostered their feelings of pride and happiness. Lieutenant Colonel Abdulrahman Hayi Al
Kaabi, Head of the Masfout Comprehensive Police Station, welcomed the two students
from their school and shared these special moments with them. He then took them on a
tour of the station, where they learned about the various departments, police services, and
the procedures for security and police operations. They also toured a traffic patrol vehicle,
learning about the duties of traffic patrols and their role in promoting road safety and
maintaining security. They were also briefed on the efforts of police officers in maintaining
security and order and serving the community.
The Head of the Masfout Comprehensive Police Station emphasized that the initiative
reflects Ajman Police's approach to strengthening community partnerships and bringing
happiness to all segments of society, especially people of determination. He noted that the
initiative aligns with the objectives of the Year of the Family and reflects Ajman Police's
commitment to enhancing quality of life and reinforcing the values of social cohesion and
solidarity, thus contributing to building a happier and more stable society.
