The Vehicle and Driver Licensing Services Center of Ajman Police General Command received a delegation
from Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) as part of efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation
and knowledge exchange between government entities in the United Arab Emirates.
The visit aimed to learn about best practices in the foreign driving license exchange service, including its
application process at the center and via the smart application. The two sides discussed ways to develop this
service and enhance its efficiency. During the meeting, the center showcased its achievements in customer
and employee satisfaction, operational performance indicators, and several pioneering initiatives. These
included the "Digital Parking Permit for People of Determination," which allows for the issuance and renewal
of permits electronically without requiring in-person attendance, and the "Smart Technical Inspection Lane,"
which utilizes smart cameras and full digital documentation.
The visit concluded with a tour of the center's customer service hall and smart services area. Both sides
emphasized their commitment to building a sustainable collaborative channel in the field of driver licensing,
contributing to the development of similar procedures within both entities and fostering a shared culture of
institutional excellence.
