Ajman Police General Command received a financial donation of AED 792,500 from the International
Charity Foundation to help alleviate the hardship of several inmates at the Correctional and Rehabilitation
Institution.
His Excellency Colonel Mohammed Mubarak Al Ghafli, Director of the Ajman Correctional and
Rehabilitation Institution, expressed his deep gratitude to the International Charity Foundation for its ongoing
humanitarian support. He commended this noble initiative, which reflects the high values of social
responsibility and the role of institutions in promoting solidarity and social cohesion, and providing assistance
to those in need.
He explained that this generous donation will help alleviate the hardship of a number of inmates, enabling
them to start a new life and overcome difficult circumstances. This will enhance their rehabilitation and
positive reintegration into society, which aligns with the institution's strategy of providing comprehensive
rehabilitative care for inmates.
His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Authority, Dr. Khalid Al-Khaja, said that charitable work does
not only include providing material assistance, but also includes helping those in need, solving their crises,
and standing with them and their families. This stems from the teachings of our religion, and it also reflects
the directives of our wise leadership, which has made charitable work an integral part of our social fabric,
while fully preserving the privacy and dignity of beneficiaries in all humanitarian initiatives.
