Ajman Police launch a traffic campaign under the slogan "Driving without recklessness"

Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, launched a traffic campaign under the slogan "Driving Without Recklessness." This initiative reflects their commitment to enhancing road safety, reducing dangerous driving behaviors, and raising awareness among drivers. The campaign will run until August 2026. Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, emphasized that the campaign is part of Ajman Police's ongoing efforts to raise awareness among drivers about the dangers and dangerous driving behaviors exhibited by some drivers. These include swerving, sudden lane changes, illegal overtaking, speeding, and distracted driving. He stressed that these behaviors threaten the safety of all road users and contribute to traffic accidents. The Deputy Director explained that the campaign includes intensifying educational messages through social media platforms and the police website, highlighting the importance of adhering to traffic laws and regulations, particularly those related to safe driving, speed limits, and avoiding dangerous driving behaviors that could endanger the lives of drivers and other road users. Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi added that the safety of drivers and road users is a priority for the Traffic and Patrols Department, stressing the continuation of implementing initiatives and awareness campaigns that contribute to reducing traffic accident rates and raising the level of drivers’ commitment to traffic laws and regulations.
