Ajman Police Launches Traffic Campaign Under the Slogan "Partners in Safety"

The Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, launched a traffic campaign under the slogan "Partners in Safety." This initiative reflects their commitment to enhancing road safety, protecting lives and property, and raising awareness among truck drivers. The campaign will run until August 2026. Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, emphasized that the campaign is part of ongoing efforts to promote traffic awareness among truck drivers and underscore the importance of adhering to traffic regulations. Key among these regulations are compliance with legal weight and dimension limits, adherence to designated routes and times for trucks, observing speed limits, maintaining a safe following distance, and ensuring the proper functioning of tires, brakes, and lights. All of these measures contribute to enhancing road safety and reducing road accidents. The Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department explained that the campaign includes intensifying educational messages through social media platforms and the website, in addition to implementing direct field awareness for truck drivers about the special requirements for trucks, and avoiding wrong traffic behaviors that may endanger the lives of drivers and road users. He called on truck drivers to cooperate with the campaign and adhere to traffic guidelines and instructions, in order to preserve their safety and the safety of road users, stressing that enhancing traffic safety is a shared responsibility that requires the combined efforts of all members of society.
