Ajman Police Organizes "Customer Council" with Driving Schools to Enhance the Trainee's Journey

The Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Vehicle and Driver Licensing Services Center, organized a "Customer Council" with the participation of several officers and non-commissioned officers, as well as representatives from a number of driving schools and institutes in the emirate. The council aimed to strengthen direct communication with partners and customers, listen to their opinions and suggestions, and involve them in developing services and improving the trainee's journey at all stages of training and testing. Major Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, Acting Head of the Drivers Licensing Section, emphasized Ajman Police's commitment to establishing the principle of participation and listening to customer feedback. This is achieved by providing direct communication channels that allow for understanding the needs of trainees and driving schools, identifying observations, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, thus contributing to streamlined procedures and the provision of easier, more flexible, and more efficient services. He explained that the council represents an important platform for strengthening partnerships with driving schools and institutes, considering them essential partners in the trainee's journey. He noted that exchanging opinions, experiences, and proposals contributes to developing the training and testing system and raising the level of trainee readiness, which positively impacts the quality of services and enhances road safety. The council witnessed interactive discussions on several topics related to the trainee experience, in addition to exploring opportunities to develop the theoretical test and add new languages according to the needs and nationalities of applicants, and providing a pilot electronic model that simulates the test to enhance trainee preparedness. Participants also discussed a number of proposals related to developing mechanisms for booking and modifying test appointments, strengthening communication channels between the Vehicle and Driver Licensing Services Center and driving schools to disseminate updates and instructions, and enhancing customer awareness of the services available through the Ministry of Interior's (MOI) application and how to use them to easily complete their transactions.
