Ajman Police Becomes First Police Command to Host a "Policy Forum"

In a pioneering move among police commands, the Ajman Police General Headquarters—represented by the Strategy and Performance Development Department—organized the "First Policy Forum 2026." This initiative makes it the first police command to host a forum dedicated to policy, aiming to strengthen policy governance, facilitate the exchange of expertise and best practices, and enhance the efficiency and quality of institutional performance. The forum was attended by Brigadier Sultan Khalifa Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police; officers from the Ministry of Interior’s Policy Department; and various department directors and section heads from the Ajman Police General Headquarters. The event opened with a welcome address by Colonel Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department. He emphasized the forum's importance in raising awareness regarding institutional policies and their pivotal role in regulating operations, ensuring compliance with government and Ministry of Interior requirements, and boosting institutional performance efficiency and quality. The forum featured a presentation on policy governance at the Ministry of Interior, delivered by specialists from the Ministry’s Policy Department, covering key methodologies and practices used in policy management and governance. Additionally, Captain Ahmed Nasser Al Nuaimi, Head of the Quality Section, presented on policy governance at the Ajman Police General Headquarters, outlining the command's experience and efforts in this area. The event also included a brainstorming session involving the attendees to exchange ideas and proposals, discuss opportunities to enhance the policy framework and its effectiveness, and generate suggestions to support continuous improvement and development efforts. At the conclusion of the forum, Brigadier Sultan Khalifa Al Muhairi honored those who contributed to the event's success, as well as Command personnel who excelled in policy implementation. This recognition acknowledged their efforts and role in supporting the development of the policy framework and advancing the journey of organizational excellence at the Ajman Police General Headquarters.
